The Role
As a Managing Consultant S&OP / IBP / Supply Chain, you play a dual role: you are both a trusted advisor and a hands-on leader. You take ownership of client relationships and guide them through complex planning and transformation journeys. Sometimes you’ll lead a project; sometimes you’ll step in as interim S&OP or Planning Lead at the client. Always, you’ll deliver impact. You will shape the direction of S&OP / IBP for major organizations, designing roadmaps, leading implementations, and coaching teams. You’re confident in facilitating executive alignment and navigating cross-functional complexity, from demand to supply to finance. You are also a mentor to junior colleagues and a contributor to our internal growth as we scale our capability, methods, and partnerships.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or facilitate monthly S&OP/IBP cycles, ensuring functional and cross-functional alignment across demand, supply, finance, and executive levels.
- Take on interim positions at clients (e.g., S&OP Manager, IBP Lead) during transitions, scale-up phases, or reorganizations.
- Design and implement robust S&OP / IBP processes and governance structures from scratch.
- Define transformation roadmaps with clear milestones, ownership, and KPIs.
- Support tool selection and digital enablement.
- Engage with stakeholders across functions and levels, from operational planners to board-level sponsors.
- Train and coach client teams to build lasting internal capability.
- Contribute to internal capability development and thought leadership within Quicksilver.
What you bring
You are a results-driven consultant with the credibility to advise senior stakeholders and the hands-on experience to lead operational change. We’re looking for a well-rounded professional who combines real-world planning expertise with the ability to drive transformation across people, processes, and performance.

- At least 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, S&OP or IBP process ownership or consulting roles.
- A firm understanding of demand planning, supply balancing, scenario planning, and executive alignment
- Strong consulting, facilitation, and change leadership skills.
- Proven experience with S&OP or IBP implementations or redesigns across functions.
- Ability to step into leadership roles within client environments (e.g., interim S&OP/Planning Manager).
- Deep understanding of planning processes, data flows, and stakeholder dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, from shop floor to C-suite
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong advantage.
- Experience with tooling (e.g., SAP IBP, Logility, RELEX, Blue Yonder) is a plus. APICS, IBF or comparable certifications are welcome.
