Why Quicksilver
Quicksilver helps supply chain professionals take control over the future of their supply chain. We bridge the gap between supply chain, operations and finance, and we believe things can simply be done better.
We are a small, close-knit team, so your voice counts from day one and you have real say in how we work. You get the room, and the backing of the Finext family, to grow into the supply chain consultant of the future.
What you'll do
You work at the front of our client engagements, together with our Solution Architects, Solution Engineers and planners. Day to day, you:
- Step in at clients across industries, map how their supply chain planning works today and where it gets stuck
- Advise on what's needed: process, organisation, governance and tooling, across S&OP, IBP, demand, supply and inventory management
- Run workshops and bring sales, operations and finance together around one plan
- Translate business ambitions into a clear roadmap and a solid business case
- Guide software selection: shape the requirements, write tender documentation and assess vendors objectively
- Take on advisory or interim roles when a client needs someone to take the wheel
- Stay switched on at the client: spot new opportunities, grow the relationship, and pull in the right colleagues
- Help build Quicksilver's voice in the market through insights, events and our S&OP maturity scan
Who you are
You do not wait to be told. You see what needs doing, and you make it happen.
- A consultant at heart, who enjoys being a client's trusted sparring partner
- An entrepreneur who spots opportunities and acts on them, at the client and within Quicksilver
- Someone who speaks the client's language, from the planning floor to the boardroom
- A driver of change who is not afraid to challenge the status quo
What you bring
- Consulting experience: you have worked with multiple clients and know how to build trust quickly. This is what counts most
- Broad knowledge of supply chain processes (S&OP, IBP, demand and supply planning, inventory management) and how they connect to finance
- Experience in advising on and driving process improvement or change
- Strong communication and facilitation skills: you make complex things simple
- A sharp analytical mind: you approach problems from new angles and put forward well-argued advice, even in unfamiliar situations
- A good overview of the planning tool landscape (such as Arkieva, SAP IBP, Relex, Streamline, Pyplan, Board or Anaplan) is a plus. You know what's out there; configuring it is not your job
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
What we offer
- An annual salary of €75,000 to €95,000, depending on your experience (including base salary, mobility budget, and holiday allowance)
- Quicksilver contributes 8% of your salary towards your pension
- An unlimited budget for the training of your choice
- The option to buy certificates after one year, so you become invested in Finext and share in the dividends based on company performance
- A smartphone and a laptop with all the gear you need
- A one-year contract to start, with the clear intention of a permanent contract after that
An entrepreneurial role
Quicksilver is built by entrepreneurs, and we are looking for one more. You are more than your job title here: alongside your client work, internal roles such as controller, marketeer or recruiter are open to you as well. Together we will see what fits you best.
