What you'll do
You work side by side with our Business Consultants, Solution Engineers and planners on client projects. Day to day, you:
- Engage with clients to gather detailed requirements and turn them into (partial) solution designs
- Own the functional design: translate business needs into a working solution across S&OP, IBP and SCM
- Act as the client's sparring partner on process and tooling: what's possible, what isn't, and what the smartest route is
- Assess planning tools on their functional fit during software selections and fit-gap analyses
- Supervise and review the work built by engineers, clients and junior colleagues, and run peer reviews
- Test your own work and safeguard quality across the project
- Guide testing and training, so the client actually adopts what you build
- Stay switched on at the client: spot opportunities and act on them, or pull in the right people
- Keep an eye on scope, planning and quality, and flag risks and opportunities early

What you bring
- The ability to gather requirements and translate them into a working functional design. This is what counts most
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain planning processes (S&OP, IBP, SCM), with genuine interest in the finance side of planning
- Experience in a client-facing consulting role
- A real affinity with planning tooling. Hands-on functional experience with an S&OP, IBP or xP&A tool such as Arkieva, SAP IBP, Relex, Streamline, Pyplan, Board, Anaplan, Pigment or similar is a strong plus
- An understanding of data and integrations at a conceptual level. You don't need to code
- A sharp analytical mind: you approach problems from new angles and put forward original, well-argued solutions, even in unfamiliar situations
- A feel for project and change management
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
What we offer
- An annual salary of €65,000 to €90,000, depending on your experience (including base salary, mobility budget, and holiday allowance)
- Quicksilver contributes 8% of your salary towards your pension
- An unlimited budget for the training of your choice
- The option to buy certificates after one year, so you become invested in Finext and share in the dividends based on company performance
- A smartphone and a laptop with all the gear you need
- A one-year contract to start, with the clear intention of a permanent contract after that
An entrepreneurial role
